Network and systems engineering is responsible for the planning, implementation, administration, and maintenance of an enterprise data network.
Among our capabilities of this area are:
Plan, administer, and maintain the copper and fiber optic data cabling that makes up the enterprise network.
Manage and maintain numerous network servers, including the campus file system.
Plan, administer, and maintain all enterprise network data electronics (switches, routers).
Administer and maintain firewall/network security systems.
Secure and maintain enterprise network communications closets.
Assist with the addition or relocation of data outlets.
Plan network growth into new spaces such as new facilities, new computer labs, and renovated spaces.
Conduct routine preventative network maintenance and support.
