Network & Systems Engineering, Requirements Analysis & Design

Network and systems engineering is responsible for the planning, implementation, administration, and maintenance of an enterprise data network. Among our capabilities of this area are:

  • Plan, administer, and maintain the copper and fiber optic data cabling that makes up the enterprise network.
  • Manage and maintain numerous network servers, including the campus file system.
  • Plan, administer, and maintain all enterprise network data electronics (switches, routers).
  • Administer and maintain firewall/network security systems.
  • Secure and maintain enterprise network communications closets.
  • Assist with the addition or relocation of data outlets.
  • Plan network growth into new spaces such as new facilities, new computer labs, and renovated spaces.
  • Conduct routine preventative network maintenance and support.
