CONTRACT VEHICLE ; 8(a) Certification
TLC's 8(a) certification by the U.S. Small Business Administration expires in November 2020.
The benefits of this certification include:
Government purchasers can order goods and services from TLC on a sole-source basis with a contract ceiling of $4 million.
Federal acquisition policies encourage Federal agencies to award a certain percentage of their contracts to SDBs; over 25 Federal agencies can contract directly with certified 8(a) firms.
8(a) firms can form joint ventures and teams to bid on contracts, enhancing our capability to perform larger prime contracts.
WOMAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS FEDERAL CONTRACT PROGRAM
The Program provides equal access to federal contracting opportunities for women-owned small businesses (WOSB). The program allows contracting officers to set aside specific federal contracts for WOSBs.
