Submittal Instructions:  Applicants must send their resume and cover letter as two MS Word attachments to TLC_HumanResource@Yahoo.com.  The cover letter must be written to Dr. Mark Toufanian, reference the position, not be generic and must demonstrate the applicant's writing skills.  Filenames must follow the format below:

All positions require minimum BA / BS degree from reputable colleges or universities, Overall GPA may be considered as part of the selection process.

Medical Assistant Instructor (Position Code: MAI)

Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Windows Explorer (file/folder search options), Word, and Excel
  • Must have teaching experience and familiarity with vocational education
  • Able to multi-task, have organizational skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Applicants with biology or similar educational background are welcome to apply

    Admissions Representative (Position Code: AR)

    The positions carry the following responsibilities:

  • Interview prospective students and evaluate their application for admission
  • Exert a high level of influence on admissions decisions
  • Address students' needs, issues, and concerns on a day-to-day basis
  • Answer potential applicants' questions over the phone and in person
  • Any other duties necessary in the day-to-day operations of a school
  • The candidate must possess the following skills/characteristics:

  • Willingness and ability to multi-task while maintaining a high quality of work
  • Ability to learn new processes and adapt to a changing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Windows Explorer, MS Word and Excel (working knowledge includes the ability to perform basic formulas (add and multiply) using cell numbers, sort and filter, etc.)
  • Ability to use common sense in decision-making activities
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree is required. Recent college graduates with high GPA as well as experienced professionals are encouraged to apply. Positions include benefits. Relevant experience with Admissions a plus but not required. This position involves other activities such as providing assistance to the CEO and management on a diverse range of projects. Therefore the knowledge of MS Windows and Office are essential. Candidates must be strong in basic math.

    Financial Aid Representative (Position Code: FAR)

    The ideal candidate for this position would have a BS degree, with emphasis in accounting or finance, or a BS/BA degree with accounting coursework or related work-experience. Strong ability to work with numbers and financial information and reports, working knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications (Windows Explorer, Word, Excel), strong analytical ability and organizational skills, excellent writing and verbal communication skills, and an ability to learn new skills. Must be familiar with general reconciliation concept. Experience with different financial systems and in particular the US Education Department's Federal Financial Aid systems (ED Express, ED Connect, DLSAS, SSCR, etc.) a plus, but not necessary.

    Job Placement Representative (Position Code: JPR)

    Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Windows Explorer (file/folder search options), Word, some Excel.
  • Professionals with 3+ years of relevant experience; exceptional recent graduates with strong writing and math skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Retail experiences are not considered as relevant.
  • Able to multi-task, have strong phone and organizational skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solving.
  • An interest in helping students with their Externship and employment needs to make a difference in their lives.
  • Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate job placement activities
  • Identify and work with doctors and hospitals to arrange for Externship sites for vocational Medical Assistant programs
  • Conduct student employment assessment to identify successful matches
  • Identify employment opportunities for students and graduates
  • Work with students to prepare resumes and cover letters, facilitate job applications, assist students with interview preparation
