Tuition InfoTechnical Learning Centers is an eligible institution under the office of Federal Student Aid, of the U.S. Department of Education. TLC is approved for federal direct lending programs. Students may qualify for a variety of grant, loan or tuition aid options which are listed below. FAFSAStudents will be asked to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This form is used to determine the amount of money a family is expected to contribute to the price of attending a postsecondary institution. The results of the FAFSA are used in determining student grants and loan amounts. For more information, or to start your application, please visit http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ Pell GrantA Federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid. The amount you receive is based on financial need. Pell Grants are considered a foundation of federal financial aid, to which aid from other federal and nonfederal sources might be added. Stafford Loans (Direct Loans)Federal student loans allow students and their parents to borrow money to help pay for college. They have low interest rates and offer flexible repayment terms, benefits, and options. PLUS LoansPLUS Loans are available to parents of dependent undergraduate students who are enrolled at least half-time. The borrower is responsible for interest that accrues during the life of the loan. Borrowers can request a loan for up to the full cost of attendance minus any other financial aid.

Tuition/Fees
Books, supplies, medical uniforms, and some medical equipment are included in the tuition.
Housing
Based on median monthly gross rent in 2009: $1,059 and average cost of utilities per month of: $251.55. This amount can vary greatly depending on the location the student chooses to rent in the Washington DC Metro area.
Transportation
Based on Metro fare from Naylor Road to Farragut West: $6.60 per day. This amount may vary based on student’s location within the Washington DC Metro area.
Food
Based on moderate cost of food plan established by the USDA for a female aged 19-50: $244.50 per month.
